Shipping & Delivery
Industrial freight coordinated around the machine.
We coordinate industrial-equipment delivery based on shipment size, weight, destination access and unloading needs.
The transportation method follows the equipment.
Because industrial equipment varies considerably in size, weight and handling requirements, each shipment is reviewed to determine the appropriate transportation and receiving arrangements.
GT Machinery Solutions works with Logistica Cargonam for freight and logistics coordination.
Depending on the equipment and destination, delivery may require:
- Less-than-truckload freight
- Full-truckload service
- Flatbed transportation
- Heavy-haul or specialized transportation
- Project-cargo coordination
Estimated transit is 7–14 business days after collection.
The estimated transit time is 7–14 business days after the shipment has been released to and collected by the carrier. Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays.
The estimate does not include:
- Product processing or preparation time
- Manufacturer lead time
- Special-order or configured-equipment preparation
- Permit or route-planning time for oversized machinery
- Customer-requested delivery holds
- Delays caused by incomplete receiving information
Standard handling is 3–5 business days after verification.
Orders received by 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time, Monday through Friday, enter review that business day. Orders received after the cutoff, on weekends or on federal holidays enter review the next business day.
The 3–5-business-day handling window begins only after GT Machinery Solutions has received:
- Cleared payment
- A complete order with valid contact information
- A verified delivery address
- Product-availability confirmation
- Required freight, access and unloading details
- Any requested configuration or technical information
Free standard shipping is included with every eligible order.
GT Machinery Solutions provides free standard shipping on every online store order delivered to an eligible address in the contiguous United States and District of Columbia. The shipping charge displayed at checkout is $0.00.
After order review, GT Machinery Solutions selects and coordinates the appropriate freight method based on:
- Product weight and packaged dimensions
- Transportation method
- Distance and destination
- Commercial, residential or limited-access location
- Appointment, liftgate or notification requirements
- Oversized-load permits
- Special routing or escort services
- Additional carrier services requested by the customer
Access conditions must be disclosed before scheduling.
Online checkout shipping is limited to the 48 contiguous United States and the District of Columbia. Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, American Samoa, the Northern Mariana Islands, the U.S. Virgin Islands, other United States territories, international destinations, APO/FPO/DPO addresses and post office boxes are excluded from standard online checkout.
Customers requesting delivery to an excluded, remote or restricted destination must contact GT Machinery Solutions before ordering. Service may be unavailable or may require a separate written quotation, permits, documentation and extended transit time. Every freight destination must be a valid street address accessible to the required carrier and receiving equipment.
Commercial and limited-access locations
Customers must notify GT Machinery Solutions if the delivery destination is:
- A residential address
- A construction site
- A farm or rural property
- A school or government facility
- A storage facility
- A location without a loading dock
- A location with restricted truck access
- A location requiring an appointment
- A site without suitable unloading equipment
Prepare the site before the truck arrives.
Before delivery, the customer is responsible for ensuring that the receiving site can safely accommodate the shipment. The customer should confirm:
- Road and gate access for the delivery vehicle
- Doorway, aisle and turning clearances
- Floor space for the packaged equipment
- Dock availability
- Forklift or crane capacity
- Rigging requirements
- Availability of a qualified receiving contact
- Safe unloading and staging areas
Delivery appointments
Freight carriers may contact the customer to schedule a delivery appointment. The customer must provide a working telephone number and ensure an authorized receiving contact is available during the scheduled window.
Missed appointments, redelivery, storage, detention or address-correction charges caused by customer unavailability or inaccurate information may result in additional fees.
Shipment tracking
Tracking information will be provided when available from the carrier. Specialized, flatbed or heavy-haul shipments may be coordinated directly through a carrier representative rather than a standard parcel-tracking system.
Customers may also use the shipment-tracking resources available through Logistica Cargonam.
Inspect before signing the delivery receipt.
The customer or authorized receiving representative must inspect the shipment before signing the delivery receipt or bill of lading.
Before accepting delivery
- Inspect the crate, pallet, wrapping and equipment for visible damage.
- Confirm the number of delivered pieces.
- Look for punctures, dents, crushed sections, broken bands or missing components.
- Photograph the shipment from multiple angles.
- Record all visible damage or shortages on the carrier’s delivery receipt.
- Keep a copy of the signed delivery documentation.
Do not sign a delivery receipt as “clear” if visible damage or missing items are present. A notation such as “subject to inspection” may not be sufficient. Describe visible damage specifically.
Freight damage or missing items
Note the problem on the receipt, take photographs before unloading when possible, photograph packaging and labels, retain the equipment and materials, and contact GT Machinery Solutions promptly.
Provide the order number, product information, delivery receipt and photographs. GT Machinery Solutions will help organize the available carrier-claim or resolution process. Reporting damage does not automatically guarantee replacement, repair or reimbursement; the outcome depends on shipment documentation, carrier review and applicable terms.
Concealed damage
If damage is discovered after unpacking, stop installation or use when further operation could increase the damage.
Keep all packaging and contact GT Machinery Solutions promptly with photographs and a description. Concealed-damage claims may be subject to strict carrier reporting requirements.
Contact GT Machinery Solutions immediately when delivery details change.
Address changes
An address cannot always be changed after the shipment has been released. Carrier rerouting, reconsignment, redelivery and storage charges may apply.
Delays outside our control
GT Machinery Solutions is not responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside its reasonable control. We will provide available updates and assist with carrier communication when a delay is reported.
Delays outside our reasonable control may include:
- Severe weather
- Natural disasters
- Road closures
- Government restrictions
- Labor disruptions
- Carrier equipment failure
- Permit delays
- Customs processing
- Customer-requested holds
- Inaccessible receiving locations
